The Who.

Besos de Oro, ‘Kisses of Gold’ in Spanish, is a dairy-free ‘creamy’ liqueur, made with the finest brandy from Jerez. The ‘creamy’ bit is made from Valencian Horchata which is taken from the tuber of the serge plant and mixed with water to create a cream-like liquid. The two mixed together make a delightful dairy-free alternative to the usual ‘cream liqueurs.’

The Why.

Following a successful appearance on TV’s ‘Dragon’s Den’ The owners of the Besos de Oro range of products were advised to take another look at their brand and packaging. Hedley McEwan was chosen for the task primarily because of our track record working with distilleries and alcohol brands.

The Solution.

We wanted to bring some Valencian flair to the brand. Give the overall feeling of drama, and a sense of the product’s Spanish heritage. Cream Liqueur is almost exclusively consumed by females, so we endeavored to give the brand, packaging, and all the marketing collateral feminine appeal. 

The Outcome.

The brand, packaging, website, and all associated marketing equities have been universally well-received, customers and new customers alike, love the new look. We are actively promoting the brand online both in the UK and Australia. New territories around the world are planned to roll out in 2021.
