intu Trafford Centre

Home Couture

Previously, we showed how we promoted intu Trafford Centre’s high-end fashion brand offering, and this applies as much to homewares as it does to fashion. We were asked to highlight the homewares offering, which is one the biggest and best in the north west, but largely situated in Barton Square, a relatively isolated part of the centre. Just because it’s a short walk through a tunnel doesn’t mean it isn’t any less ‘Trafford style’.

There are over 40 Romanesque statues along the rooflines and indeed everywhere else, making this as much of an ‘experience’ as the rest of the centre. We met this challenge by keeping the high-end designer offering and fashion models, except instead of dressing them in ‘normal’ clothes we dressed them in bespoke designed garments made from homewares; bedsheets and throws for dresses, lampshades for hats, and cutlery for jewellery. Surrounding the models with the statues and furniture from Barton Square further highlighted where to go to find these delights. An outstanding campaign that only Trafford Centre could produce.
